Dominoes Duel - The Original Classic

Domino Duel is a classic two-player game where players take it in turns to lay dominoes they have been dealt onto a board with the objective of discarding them all before their opponent.

There are 28 unique tiles with a number on either end ranging from 0-6. Each player receives 7 to start with and the remaining tiles are put face down into the boneyard, the player with the highest double (6-6, 5-5 downwards) plays that piece first, the system will do this automatically for you. The Winner is the player who discards all their tiles first.

    HOW TO PLAY

Once the first tile is on the table, the game then continues from player to player, each placing one tile on the table. To place a tile you must be able to match a number in your hand with an open ended number on the table.

Open Ends: The 1 and the 6 above are the only valid tiles you could use.

If at any stage you have no valid tiles in your hand, you will be dealt a tile from the boneyard you will continue to be given tiles until you receive one which can be played. This tile is then automatically played and the game then passes to the next player.

If you cannot lay and there are no tiles left in the boneyard, then play passes to your opponent. Play continues this way until:

    a) One of you has played your last tile or

    b) Neither opponent can play a tile and the boneyard is empty (both players are 'blocked').

If this happens the game is over and scores are calculated accordingly.

    SCORING

At the end of a round, the pips left in each of the players hands and totalled up and the difference credited to the player with the least points. For example,

Player A plays his last tile and player B is left with two tiles in his hand: the 4-4 and the 0-3.

Player A has the lowest pips in his hand (none) and therefore would score 11 points 4+4+0+3=11
