How to play Three Card Slots

Three card slots is a unique slots game which will make you think! It is based on the game of 3-card brag or 3-card poker with hands ordered in terms of payouts on the left. It also features both Hold reel and Nudge reel options for you to improve on your winning combinations. Each reel has all 52 cards from a deck of cards. To play, select first your stake using the minus and plus buttons or the slider below and then press Spin. You can press Stop on any reel to stop that reel spinning.

Holds: these are awarded randomly every few spins and when they are available, you may choose to hold between zero and all three of the reels. If, for example, you have two 3s already, it is worth you holding these with the aim of spinning one reel to get a third 3. With 52 cards per reel, you have a 4/52 chance of spinning a third 3. Three 3s pay out x50 your stake while 3 suited threes pay out a whopping 1000 times your stake. You may choose to hold two to a flush or two to a run too. Note that a run pays out more than a flush. After pressing holds, you need to make a new bet to play.

Nudges: when the fourth 'nudge' reel on the right hand side finishes on the same number as one of the three reels on the left, you get a free 'nudge'. This means that you can move one reel down one number. If the fourth nudge reel is the same in both number and suit of one of your main reels, you have two nudges to play with.
